Put tech and a real commitment to the planet together, and you get ideas that actually make a difference. We used tokenization to create NFTs that live on the blockchain and make buying carbon credits simple for anyone, with every purchase helping protect the Chocó Andino, one of the most biodiverse places on Earth. Faced with the challenge of funding ecological progress in the Chocó Andino, we created an approach that decentralized the sale of carbon certificates and made it more transparent. To do that, we drew inspiration from the people of the Chocó Andino, its ecology and the living beings that surround this vital part of the world. Decentralizing the purchase and securing it through cryptography is what let us give people a little piece of the Chocó Andino, so they could help protect the world.
